Thanks to the brave shredders who came out today and kept the Día de los Muertos tradition alive. Things were fine when we showed up and suited up at 10:00 am, but upon beginning the ascent the clouds opened up and dropped heavy rain non-stop untill 2:00 pm. Runs were enjoyed despite the ever moistening conditions. I don’t recall ever riding down Tish Tang with so much standing water on track. Second run the puddles had swollen and the trail had become much more slippery. On the slick track with limited visibility it was the two DH bikes on scene that would set the pace. Their pilots paid their way pushing them up the road, and the dividends were apparent on the way down. Times that were logged:
